ABERTOIR PRESENTS:

With its echoes of TITANE and Cronenberg this funky Brazilian sci-fi brings a wry humour to man’s relationship with the car. Born in the back of a taxi Uno has a special connection with cars. He can hear them ‘talk’ so knows their every secret wish. Though he adores his mechanic Uncle, he’s attracted to life on the land. But when his beloved old cars revolt against being banned from the city’s roads and the battle between cars and the planet escalates he has to decide which side he’s on.

Mae’r ffilm ffuglen wyddonol ffynci hon o Frasil, sy’n dwyn i gof TITANE a Cronenberg, yn dod â hiwmor coeglyd i berthynas dyn â’r car. Wedi'i eni yng nghefn tacsi, mae gan Uno gysylltiad arbennig â cheir. Mae’n gallu eu clywed yn ‘siarad’ felly mae’n gwybod eu holl ddymuniadau cyfrinachol. Er ei fod yn caru ei Ewythr sy’n fecanydd, mae e wedi'i ddenu i fywyd ar y tir. Ond pan mae ei hen geir annwyl yn gwrthryfela yn erbyn cael eu gwahardd o ffyrdd y ddinas ac mae’r frwydr rhwng ceir a’r blaned yn gwaethygu mae’n rhaid iddo ddewis ochr.
