Partnering with the Global Environments Network (GEN) — an international network of people dedicated to social and ecological justice, healing and planetary wellbeing — join us for this wide roving discussion and become part of the conversation.
Speakers:
Minni Jain is Operations Director of the Flow Partnership, UK, working globally on community driven decentralized catchment and landscape restoration water projects. She also initiates and connects grassroot level movements, in India, which is where she originally comes from and in the UK where she now lives.
Kendi Borona is a conservation professional with 13 years of experience in diverse landscapes across Africa. A firm believer in the application of Indigenous Knowledge in conservation and community livelihoods, Kendi's book, 'Reclaiming Indigenous Knowledge Systems' explores how Indigenous Knowledge and community-led education can revitalise our human connection to land.
Fergus Drennan is a wild food experimentalist and educator who runs total immersion foraging courses. He has written on wild food and foraging for BBC Countryfile Magazine, The Ecologist, Country Kitchen, Bushcraft and Survival Skills Magazine, as well as contributing and/or featuring to many other publications.
