The inspirational story of the first all-female peace camp at Greenham Common, told from the inside by the women who were there, their children and grandchildren. In 1981 after walking from Cardiff a small group of women set up the protest camp to block the installation of a new generation of nuclear weapons. A warm, intimate portrait of the ordinary women who changed the world, this highlights their creativity and positivity that drew women from across the world and marked the dawn of a global ecofeminist movement that still inspires activists today.
