Having lived amidst the Colombian armed conflict for decades, the Nasa ancestral people of Colombia are still trying to preserve their Indigenous culture and protect their ancestrality.

Through Ana Deida, a Nasa woman leader from Resguardo de Huellas Caloto, this short film aims to understand the risks faced by the community by things like drug trafficking and cooptation by the armed actors which weaken their cultural process.

From their efforts to preserve the purity of coca leaves that are necessary for their rituals to their resistance against the cultivation of crops for illegal use, this films highlights the Nasa's 'pervivencia,' that is their historical resistance process against cultural genocide.
