How did filmmakers adjust to the constraints of making films this past year? Join WRIF filmmakers for a round table (er, round Zoom!) discussion about producing, directing, and shooting during our unprecedented year of social distancing and isolating at home. Engaging case studies will enliven this talk. What creative and practical filmmaking challenges did filmmakers face and how did they solve them? Were there unexpected discoveries, perhaps new ways to think about film language or aesthetics — or new methods of collaborating — that resulted from problem solving?

Please join us to connect around shared challenges and revelations. If you are a media maker, we hope you can share your inventive solutions. And we hope others can glean inspiration for their own work. Feel free to hang back and listen, too. Filmmaker/educator Harriette Yahr will moderate a panel including local filmmakers Samantha Davidson Green, Nora Jacobson, and Dartmouth students Cece King and Clara Pakman.
