"Knee" is a short film about about a young man who is caught up emotionally in a moment from his past while his present is very troubled. This is a personal study on male depression, the hectic life of modern day young people and the mixed feelings that occur inside relationships. His knee is a symbol of suffering and hope at the same time.

Director Statement

I completely let myself influenced be by other films I enjoyed in the past while also staying true to myself and my feelings. I want to express something that Romanian cinematography lacks a lot and that is the actual young generation, in all its wildness. I also want to address sensitive themes such as male depression, due to the fact that it hits close to home and I believe it isn't talked about enough. My work expresses sensibility at its core and I hope for a more sensible future, because I feel that this is the main quality someone can have.
