    Aspiring to work in filmmaking from a young age, Éloi Baril joined the bachelor's degree in cinema at UQÀM in 2019. From his first year, he developed his filmmaking skills through several projects. The following year, he began developing his first feature-length documentary HER SCREAM which is now in post-production. At the same time, he concluded his studies with the shooting of his first short fiction film TAKE OUT, which was then selected at Fantasia Film Festival for its world premiere. Through his work in directing and scriptwriting, Éloi addresses themes that are dear to him: family, emancipation and validation.
