They’re also single, bored and perpetually horny.Forced into near-isolation during Melbourne’s COVID-19 lockdown, Jamie keeps themselves entertained bingeing on queer film and TV. What begins as mere escapism turns sensual when they start having sexual delusions involving their favorite queer characters. Fantasy and reality merge as they recount their erotic encounters to their physician Dr. Holland and receive an unusual diagnosis.Are You Still Watching? explores the emancipatory power of the queer imagination, combining erotic fan fiction tropes, magical realism and a firm camp sensibility.

Stefan Lynch was raised by gay parents in the early eighties. He was cared for and loved by a group of adults, largely gay men, who he called his “aunties.” Stefan remembers the succession of AIDS-related illnesses in his family, including the death of his father in ‘91. Even in the face of terrible sickness and loss, his aunties showed him how to survive and care for one another.

A year ago, Costa Rica became the first Central American country and the sixth in all of Latin America to recognize the legal right to same-sex marriage, a historic step in the recognition of universal human rights. Based on three true stories, our animated music video ES AMOR, celebrates this important milestone and sings to the world that love is always love. Carlos, a married man with two daughters, dares to reveal his true sexual identity to his family; Ale, a trans woman manages to finally reconcile with the image in the mirror and accept herself; and Jaz and Lalay, two young lovers, must confront their family and society in order to get married. The three stories are intertwined with historical events to recognize the struggle of thousands of people and organizations in Costa Rica. The project involved more than 30 people including musicians, visual artists and digital animators, and seeks to promote respect, love and solidarity among all people.

IT IS LOVE

Roger Banks is a 26-year-survivor of HIV. While quarantined in his NYC apartment, during the first COVID-19 outbreak in NYC, Roger reflects upon a lifetime spent searching for answers. Roger’s fear and isolation provoke spirits of friends and family to visit him while he experiences intense flashbacks of his youth and the AIDS crisis.
