In this kooky, hilarious tale of a family visit gone every which way but loose, the Prices and the Talbotts meet for a long overdue reunion in the remote but picturesque West Texas desert. Events quickly don’t go anywhere near as planned. It appears that all four of the adults are harboring painful secrets and facing a multitude of private crises. With a wiley escaped convict hiding out somewhere in the area, an aging water heater that is a character all its own, and a shrine to a dead toad created by one of the children, they open up to one another as they explore one of the wildest, hauntingly beautiful places in America. They test the boundaries of marriage, friendship, and parenthood, while doing their best to survive the experience. Winner of Best Feature at the 2022 Kansas City Film Festival.
