In Mexico, a country where indigenous people are increasingly displaced and discriminated against, Lupita, a survivor of one of the worst massacres in the country’s history, finds her voice in a movement led by indigenous women. The film intimately follows Lupita, a Tzotzil Maya woman, as she takes on the responsibility to be the spokeswoman of her people. Part lyrical testimony, part tribute to 500 years of indigenous resistance, this film mediates the point-of-view of a brave woman who must balance the demands of motherhood with her high stakes choices to reeducate and restore justice to the world. A short documentary about artist Guillermo “Yermo” Aranda and his effort to repaint his iconic "Dreams" mural at Watsonville High School after it was covered up. Named 2022 Santa Cruz Artist of the Year, Aranda creates his murals through an inclusive community process that involves mentoring young children and adults who want to learn and assist with painting. Aranda’s murals act as a mirror and a vibrant visual archive of collective dreams and memories, reminding us where we are and where we've been. Un breve documental sobre el artista Guillermo “Yermo” Aranda y su esfuerzo por volver a pintar su icónico mural “Dreams” en la preparatoria de Watsonville después de que fue tapado.&nbsp;Nombrado en 2022 como el artista del año de Santa Cruz, Aranda crea sus murales a través de un proceso comunitario que implica asesorar a niños pequeños y adultos que quieren aprender y ayudar con la pintura.&nbsp;Los murales de Aranda actúan como un espejo y un archivo visual vibrante de sueños y recuerdos colectivos, recordándonos dónde estamos y dónde hemos estado.
