Watsonville Drag Story Time follows the first official bilingual drag story time in Watsonville, CA. After an anonymous hate letter was published in a local newspaper, security and support for the queer community and this debut event becomes more important than ever. Local organizers work together to curate a powerful family friendly event. The director is in the Social Documentation MFA program at UCSC.

Explore the living impact of Chicano artist, Malaquías Montoya, whose legacy as a public-serving artist, activist, and community leader serves as inspiration for younger generations within the Chicano community and beyond. Montoya’s posters, graphic prints, and murals highlighting political and social justice issues have helped define the Chicano identity for nearly five decades.

The jamaica flower and tamarind are iconic ingredients in Mexico, but their history comes from a place much further away. In Jamaica and Tamarindo: Afro Tradition in the Heart of Mexico, we meet five people to explore African heritage in Mexico City, an identity that goes beyond the color of one's skin.
