Werk of Nature blends the magic of nature with the global phenomenon of drag culture. Once an underground art form, drag has evolved into a colourful, mainstream celebration of self-expression, individuality and acceptance. Through this series, we give nature the same glow-up transforming perceptions and making it something everyone can connect with, celebrate and protect. Inspired by the smash-hit series Ru Paul's Drag Race, Werk of Nature stars three former stars of that show - Heidi N Closet, Mariah Paris Balenciaga and Mo Heart. Werk of Nature features four episodes of Hoot or Scoot, a video series which sees Heidi and Mo trade runway critiques of the natural world - and allows the audience to see them fall in love with nature's fiercest designs. In another element of the series, Mariah gives Heidi a makeup look inspired by the Black Backed Kingfisher. And finally, the series reaches a huge crescendo with a song and music video all about the Harlequin Toad starring Mo. The track raises awareness of the species and highlights why we all need to care for this beautiful species before it is too late. One element of the series is attached to this application.
