This program of recent experimental films includes trains, beaches and occupied spaces; a meat media network; a magic 8-ball; rum-fueled living room sermons; the year that changed a city forever; the reunion and repair between Mike Africa Jr and his mother; quiet corners of creation; and a witchy incantation of hope and recovery.

This is a handmade diary film about surgery, my dad’s heart, and how a past conflict between him and me is embedded in a media network of industrial agriculture. Salt crystals dried on film, coupon dye transfers, and digital video try to approximate the psychically connected nature of violence. In turn, these formal elements question the nature of digital tangibility and preservation.
