These contemporary experimental, documentary, and animated films include a journey to the beyond and back again, somebody that nobody knew, a water pipeline exploited by a major silver mine, experimental surgery and lonely MRI machines, a reflection on a phrase, dry-transfer lettering and patterns, a young television video editor, and the relationship between amputees and their limbs.

A deal with god traces the progress and retreat of illness across Fry’s frail body, shot weeks after her discharge from hospital with COVID-19. She manifests the unseen progress of infection through a sequence of flowers and a soundtrack of deteriorating breaths, while a morphing blue hospital background simultaneously reflects her weakening lungs and the hallucinatory effects of isolation.
