About the Filmmaker



Bashar Al Murabea is 32 years old and was born in Damascus, Syria. He studied acting and business administration. The situation in Syria forced him to leave his homeland and since 2015 he, has been living in Germany and has been involved in the artistic field of movie making and theater.

Bashar has participated in various plays as an actor. Currently, Bashar is a student at an academy in Schwerte for movie making (6th semester). He recently shot his pre-diploma movie, which he produced, directed and also played the main character. In November he worked with the Theater Duisburg on his first play as writer and actor.
