Gandhi’s message of non-violence resonated with millions all over the world and served as an inspiration to all humanity, especially those battling racism, tyranny, and injustice.  From Martin Luther King Jr. to Nelson Mandela to bringing about the fall of communism in eastern Europe, Gandhi’s approach to peaceful protest brought about massive change to the world and is still felt today.
