A few Greeks and some Spaniards know of the presence of Greeks sailors onboard the ships of the expedition of Magellan and Elcano, which 500 years ago attempted the long and turbulent voyage that was to become the first circumnavigation of the world. Through fiction, this in-depth documentary presents history as a metaphor that conducts interviews, against the backdrops of Rhodes and Chios, of the little-known Greek navigator who brought back to Spain the only ship that survived the first around-the-world journey and bequeathed to the future a recount of that unique mission.
