This documentary highlights the conditions faced by the people trapped in Karpasia and their journey from the Turkish to the Greek side through the Ledra Palas barricade in Nicosia, which was undertaken so that they could continue a normal student life. Through the memories of the students and the educational community (Giannoulas Lazaridou Vassiliou, Elenis Fokas, Nikis Chronia, Niki Tani) as well as the photographs of photojournalist Andreas Manolis, the film delves into the experiences, emotions and hopes of the students, the teachers and their families as the journey is made to the free regions.
