In late 2020, the Center for Media & Social Impact issued a potentially game changing report called “Breaking the Silence: How Documentaries Can Shape the Conversation on Racial Violence in America and Create New Communities,” which focused on a series of community screenings and conversations held in conjunction with the Independent Lens documentary ALWAYS IN SEASON.
