On September 8th, the Rogue Valley suffered an amazingly destructive fire. This film explores how impossibly severe the conditions were contrasted by how beautifully the community showed up to help those affected. A series of intimate portraits take us through the experience of how it unfolded by hearing the stories told by the people who experienced it firsthand, including Chris Chambers of the Ashland Fire Department. The warning is clear, the next fire is coming and we must prepare.
