Do you have a kid or teen at home that's inspired by Greta Thunberg, enraptured by nature or intimidated by the realities of climate change? This strand is for them! They will learn about maternal elephants, indigenous people and their connection to the Earth, poaching and its consequences, the effects of mass urban migrations, the power of musical activism, and the incredible capacity for transformation that we all hold within ourselves. These are educational films, wholesome stories, & heartening voices curated for all the budding environmentalists out there! Suitable for ages 15 and under and for the whole family.
The people of south-western Uganda are forced to hunt pangolins for survival due to lack of a sustainable income.
One local man fights to save, not only the lives of the pangolins, but also the lives of his people.
This one-woman-crew, short documentary shares the raw, untold story of Moses Arineitwe. Known by locals as the "Pangolin Man", Moses strives to save the most illegally traded mammal in the world, hoping to change the minds of the very people who hunt them, through education and alternatives to poaching.
However, with a lack of funding and resources, Moses must find creative solutions to reach his goal...
