The river is the prime source for the Karbis. They believe that nature is God and all rivers, streams, and living, and non-living ones have souls protected by deities. This story is about one of the rivers called ‘Kohora’, which flows from the high hills of Karbi Anglong, Assam. Over the years the river has supported the Karbis in many ways, but now it is facing changes. Uncertain rainfalls, less annual flood, and decreasing groundwater indicate that the river is in great danger. This film explores how Karbis narrates how the deity river is slowly disappearing from their lives.
