The World Cup Cicada or niangtaser appears only once in four years, giving it its name and the Bhoi community of Saiden village in Meghalaya, India await the arrival of this delicacy. Watch the film to spend a night in the forest welcoming the niangtaser.

This film is a part of Stories from the Ground: Northeast, a new film series by The Habitats Trust and Dusty Foot Productions.
