This film explores the idea that museums are places where many times coexist in one place. Dutta juxtaposes the spaces of a 1920's Indo-Saracenic museum building (a typical edifice from the British Raj) with another space where the artworks are still placed where they were meant to be -- the sandstone sculptures eroding with time in an 8th-century monument. It contemplates on the colonial past of India and its complicated relationship with art and its history, with layers of artistic experiences from the classical, modern, contemporary and tribal.
