Freeze frame: the most absurd technique since the invention of the moving image.Through an elaborate process of duplicating the same image over and over again, it creates the illusion of stillness.Identical figures perform the hopeless task of preserving blocks of ice. The repetitive movements reanimate the animals captured inside.

"The Things I Saw - Monday" is a traditional hand-drawn animation completed in October 2020 by Scottish animator David Graham, based in Salo, Finland.The short-film highlights topical issues, such as David Blaine’s Ascension and the Black Lives Matter movement, through the field glasses of a curious stranger observing the world around him. This film is the first part of a series dealing with the absurdity of life.

The Things I Saw - Monday

All Tender Things tells a story about six characters gathered around a campfire. When the flames starts to fade the fire needs to be fed. Books are sufficient at first, but as the night grows darker, the fire demands more sacrifices. Director’s statement:In a secular society experiences of the sacred are no longer commonly shared. Some people consider nature, homeland or religion as sacred. For others it can be totally different things. They might sanctify love, the body, food or even art.

Boner, a spiritless&nbsp;millennial, spends his gloomy life on his computer doing absolutely nothing. One day everything changes, when Boner's single mother never comes back from the grocery store and Boner starves to death on his keyboard. At his final judgement, neither&nbsp;The Cap&nbsp;nor&nbsp;Sexy Legged Devil&nbsp;feel accountable for Boner's&nbsp;passive soul, so unanimously he is sent to an eternal grave. However, a wet dream of the Sexy Legged Devil miraculously wakes Boner from his infinite rest. Hornily in love, Boner feels alive for the first time in his "life" and sets on an adventure to make love with the devil.

The scientist uses a science machine to create life, and different kinds of creatures crawl out wreacking havoc in the lab. None of them fit the request, and the professor falls into despair. Luckily one of the creatures is helpful and knows what to do before the time runs out.

A mad scientist is struggling to fulfill his customer’s wishes to create a perfect pet.
