We enter the story when George is left behind by his wife and daughter, who no longer wants to live in a dried out sea. All alone, George keeps maintaining his old fishing boat, as he does every day. It lies in the vastness of the dessert, but George is convinced the sea will come back one day. During his daily routine he gets attacked by a sandstorm, which forces him to take refuge on his fishing boat. The storm not only confronts him with his past as a fisherman, but also with his recent loss, a life together with his beloved daughter.
