Last year, our shorts programs were themed after movie titles, but since the pandemic began, our lives have revolved around the television set as the source for movies. This year’s short film programs are named after famous television shows, more specifically reality tv shows and game shows, since the last year’s news cycle has felt like one big dramatic and suspenseful reality tv show.

When a desperate father discovers his daughter’s favorite cake decoration is illegal, he descends into a confectionary black market and must choose between breaking the law or breaking a birthday promise.
