Charles is an introverted Video Editor who crafts In Memoriam eulogies for living people and covets his ivory tower existence until his girlfriend bolts and he’s locked out of his apartment with no shoes or phone charger – suddenly he’s forced to engage with life. This disarmingly charming, smart comedy is an intergenerational romp through a Brooklyn neighborhood of eccentric personalities from a wise widow and chill Oslo swingers to a strident traffic cop and gifted piano prodigy whose goodness reminds this lovable loner that life is too short to miss out on what’s really important…human connection. Starring Brian Tyree Henry (from the hit tv series Atlanta).
