A Dark Comedy-Horror Christmas Movie | Director Álex de la Iglesia tells the gonzo tale of a guileless Catholic priest, a cuddly death metal fan, and a cocky occult show “mystic” who must band together to stop the imminent birth of the Antichrist. And it just happens to be Christmas. Father Ángel Berriartúa has crunched the numbers from Revelations, and has made a terrifying discovery: Satan is coming, and there is not much time left. So he decides to hit the streets of Madrid and commit as many sins as necessary to get an appointment with the Devil himself. Slapstick shenanigans and gory misunderstandings ensue. Perfect to get yourself in the mood for the upcoming holiday season! Restoration courtesy of Severin Films and the American Genre Film Archive. (In Spanish with English subtitles)
