When veteran celebrity portrait photographer David Buchanan receives a call from his agent that his subject for that day’s shoot is cancelling at the last minute, she then tells him that she’s found a last minute replacement with a large social media following. David reluctantly agrees to the shoot in hopes it will help with his fading relevance as a photographer. But when the day’s replacement singer/songwriter Sara Chevelle arrives, both David and Sara are caught off guard with an unresolved, painful past that they will be asked to confront during the shoot.
