Philly: Workshop of Dreams presented by Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival

The Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival exists first and foremost as a platform for storytellers and artists of the Asian and Pacific Island diaspora, and while our scope is often wide enough to be considered global, we ultimately belong to our city. This program highlights local voices while looking at intersections of class, nationality, culture, and more within Philly's Asian communities, as folks behind and in front of the camera struggle for recognition, dignity, and the promise of dreams fulfilled. Stay tuned for our upcoming festival this November 4 - 14, 2021. Learn more at PAAFF.org

SKYLER is a film of a young man who shows us his passion to express and communicate to the world through his paintings. He paints with the movement of his feet. His paintings can say more than what his computer talker can say.
