SAAFF is the only film festival in Seattle to provide a space for Asian American & Pacific Islander voices, perspectives and histories through the powerful medium of film. Built in 1962, the Four Seas restaurant and Dynasty Room lounge in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District was a gathering place for people from all walks of life, until its closure in 2017. However, the space is being reactivated to continue to serve and build community for future generations.
