Writer and member of the Chicago Palestine Film Festival, George Iskander, sits down with filmmaker Tamer Ruggli to discuss his debut feature film BACK TO ALEXANDRIA, screening as part of AFF 2024 on Saturday October 26th at the AMC Kabuki 8, as well as online. The two discuss the inspiration for the story, the challenges of filming in Egypt, how Tamer melded the different acting styles of the cast and much more.
