We are pleased to share bonus screenings for September! The Arab American National Museum (AANM) hosts a free virtual music and arts festival, JAM3A, taking place Sept. 23-26, 2021. This can’t-miss 4-day virtual experience features musical performances by renowned Arab artists, panel discussions, and a curated virtual vendor market showcasing small artisan businesses.


In addition, the Arab Film Series in conjunction with JAM3A presents the films Art War, Sama' Abuldhadi and It Ain't Where You From on-demand for the duration of the festival!

A portrait of Sama' Abuldhadi, the Palestinian techno queen, blasting around the globe. An emblematic artist of the Palestinian underground scene, Abuldhadi is one of the first DJs and electronic music producers to emerge from the region.


Filmmaker Bio

Jan Beddegenoodts is a director & documentary film maker with a background as a photographer and the mayor of Cameltown. The last 10 years he has been creating films about resistance, rave-culture and everything in between art and activism. He uses a cinematographic style to portray people with their passion and struggles. His work zooms in on a micro-reality to bring urgent matters to a world wide audience.
