FILM SYNOPSIS:

How did humankind emerged ?

One of the most universal questions remains unanswered. At least until the recent discoveries of the French paleoanthropologist José Braga.

In Kromdraai, South Africa, he discovered a fossil deposit of unprecedented potential. The first samples revealed the remains of two children… over 2 million years old! The oldest ever discovered. One is human, the other Paranthropus, our closest cousin.

Scientists have long excluded immature individuals from their research because they did not have the technological tools to study them. However, they are precisely the key that was missing to define the first Humans and differentiate them from other Hominins.

It is the starting point of an unprecedented scientific adventure on the origins of our kind.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Cédric ROBION is 44 years old. After obtaining his engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology of Compiègne (France), he devoted himself to his true passion: making documentaries! He lives between Paris and Buenos Aires in Argentina. He is known for “Kromdraai", “Ohman, the treasure of Mudhmar”, “The tomb of Genghis Khan, the secret revealed”, “The frozen tomb of Mongolia”, etc. His films have been broadcast on France 5, Planete +, ARTE, France Televisions.
