Its history was therefore brought to us by its enemies: the Spanish conquistadors who invaded this Empire from 1532.
But for 15 years, thanks to technical progress and increasingly numerous research programs, a new history of the Inca Empire has emerged, revealing aspects unknown or poorly understood until then.
What is the real history of the Incas, this people who have become legendary? From the four corners of their ancient empire, scientists are gathering all the clues to establish the truth.
