Ancient Sea Peoples of the North Atlantic is a chronicle of almost a half-century of research by T. W. Timreck working with the Arctic Studies Center of the Smthsonian's National Museum of Natural History.

The narrative illustrates the major discoveries by scientists with accompanying reflections from tribal representatives that have been milestones in the slowly evolving recognition of ocean adapted civilizations living on both sides of the Atlantic going back to the last Ice Age.
