“The Red Scarf - A Story of Armenian Hope” interweaves the tales of two young remarkable boys whose lives, although separated by vast oceans and different worlds, become bound together by destiny and a very special hand-woven scarf. Krikor, a young orphan caught in the tragedy of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, finds compassion and courage in those who help him, allowing his spirit to thrive even in the bleakest of times. On the other side of the world, Jackie Coogan shines as the brightest child star of Hollywood's silent movie era. With a heart as big as his fame, Jackie dedicates years of his young life to help the Near East Relief bring hope and aid to orphan refugees. Together, their stories tell the tale of “The Red Scarf,” a story of Armenian hope. This heartwarming animated story is brought to life by Twiddle Productions Inc. in association with the USC Shoah Foundation.
