A virtual craft-focused conversation with the director of the recent documentary, The Body Politic, Gabriel Francis Paz Goodenough. Together, we will discuss the particular opportunities and challenges of making a profile piece about a political figure, Baltimore Mayor, Brandon Scott, and how film and storytelling can be used as pathways to healing and change. We will invite Gabriel to share about how his life and career has led to the making of this film, his experience of connecting and working with Brandon, and how the film has provided healing to him and his community. Attendees will be invited to ask questions and participate in the conversation.

The event is free to attend.

Catch the full film before (on February 5th) at The City Library as part of our Black, Bold & Brilliant series. Get your free tickets here.
