A family weekend in the family house of a traditional Bourgeois French family. The men of the family are self-satisfied, the women are efficient, the children are given a gender-biased education, and the dog stays outside. There’s no reason for changing the order of things. Yet, one of the uncles has a new wife who doesn’t fit. She might stir up trouble when she realizes she has an accomplice among her new female in-laws.
