In one night, in one room, three strangers–a thief, a retired policeman, and a delivery guy–are all present during the murder of the room's occupant. As the trio tries to figure out this bizarre situation, the stakes are raised when they discover a huge pile of cash. They soon realize that the only way to get out alive is to unravel this mystery. What initially seems like a coincidence, turns out to be destined from the beginning.

MEET THE FILMMAKER: XIANG LIU

Xiang Liu (August 27th, 1982) was born in Tianjin, China. Xiang Liu graduated from Institute International de l'Image et du Son(3iS) in 2012, studying Film & TV Photography. Then, he worked as cinematographer for two years in France and China. In 2014, Xiang Liu was the director of photography of the feature film ERDOS RIDER which was shortlisted for the main competition of the 44th Rotterdam International Film Festival (2015). In 2018, he was the director of photography of action film SHADOWS AND ECHOES was shortlisted for the "Action New Film" section of the 5th Jackie Chan International Action Film Week (2019). KNOCK KNOCK is his directorial debut.
