MEET THE FILMMAKER: SONAM LARCIN

Sonam Larcin is a science teacher and belgian director who studied Filmmaking at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD). In 2017, he directed a short fiction Tristan, shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Awards, in 2018, a short documentary After the silence, qualified for the Academy Awards, and, in 2020, the short film On my way, awarded at the Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur (FIFF). He is now developing a feature-length documentary about parenthood in same-sex couples. His work is devoted to themes linked directly or indirectly to sexual orientation and gender.
