The wind blows hard in Heurtebise, Alice's home in France. This year will be her last summer and the first one for her great-grandson Dario. A life that comes to an end and another that begins. A house, three women, a baby, and the sea.


MEET THE FILMMAKER: ELISA TORRES

Elisa Torres. 1975, Valencia (Spain). Degree in Labour Studies at the University of Valencia. She has been the producer of the non-fiction feature “Holy Water”, Awarded in MiradasDoc, Las Palmas International Film Festival, Cebu Documentary (Philippines) and the Human Rights Film Festival (Bolivia). She has been the producer of the short documentary “The Russians’ Machine” nominated for the Goya Awards in the category Best Short Documentary. She has been the producer the non-fiction feature "Searching for Oscar" made its World Premiere in Berlin Critics' Week at the Berlinale 2018. “Heurtebise” is her first short film as director.


MEET THE FILMMAKER: OCTAVIO GUERRA

Octavio Guerra. 1976, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). Graduated in Journalism at the University of Valencia, he also took the Iberoamerican Masters of Film’s and TV script writting (FIA-UIMP, 2002-2004. Valencia). His short documentary “The Russians’ Machine” has been nominated for the Goya Awards in the category Best Short Documentary. His first feature film non-fiction "Agua Bendita" has been selected at festivals such as Toulouse or Havana, and his second non-fiction feature "Searching for Oscar" made its World Premiere in Berlin Critics' Week at the Berlinale 2018. His latest non-fiction short “Apache” has been selected at the Seminci 2019.
