MEET THE FILMMAKER: E. DEL MUNDO

Recipient of the Philippine National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ Ani ng Dangal Award for Cinema and the Film Development Council of the Philippines' Film Ambassadorship, award winning filmmaker E del Mundo backs up her youthful vigor with an MFA in Film, receiving the degree under the scholarship of venerated producer Brett Ratner (GRAVITY, WONDER WOMAN). She recently wrapped up show running and directing the first season (twelve episodes) of MANILENNIALS for iWant, an LGBTQ++ dark comedy series about five millennial friends’ adventures set in 2016 Manila, when President Duterte was elected to power. The series won in Best TV Pilot at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, and competed again with UrbanWorld and New Orleans International Film Festival 2020.
