Hero The Band, Atlanta-based rock band comprised of four multitalented brothers, spread love through music and storytelling. "Trouble in my Mind," depicts several unique characters who liberate themselves from internal demons.
MEET THE FILMMAKER: ALLISON FLOM
Allison Flom is a writer/director/performer whose work explores justice, identity, and mental health. Recent credits: "Lulu is a Rhinoceros" (children's Print), “Freelance” (web), “Ill Feelings” (short), “What You’ve Done” (stage), “Rosie” (animated). Her true-crime podcast, “Erased” highlighting unsung womxn heroes throughout history premieres this spring with Lava For Good. In 2020, the Jewish Council for Public Affairs recognized her with the Tikkun Olam Award for improving the world. Allison is a founding board member of The Sunny Center Foundation, providing post-exoneration support to the wrongfully convicted. She also co-created CrimSim with Fogbreak Justice and facilitates arts workshops for women behind bars. Allison is a licensed NYC sightseeing guide and remains passionate about investigating history to illuminate and amend today’s injustices. Working on this project with dear friends Hero The Band and Peter Pascucci inspired Allison to continue directing music videos!
