Logan. These films show us the power of dreaming, community, and determination.
Film Program:
Rakchham
Left Right - A Film About Turning
Changabang: Return to the Shining Mountain
Cold Crush
The Vagabonds of Logan
At 5959m, Mount Logan is the highest peak in Canada and second highest peak in North America. Although one of the most remote mountains in the world, Hélias Millerioux, Alex Marchesseau, Thomas Delfino and Gregory Douillard did not choose the easiest approach. A machoistic march on foot and on skis, with 80kg per person carried over hundreds of kilometers through relentless moraines and tormented glaciers finds them at the base of Logan’s East ridge, where the 4000 meters of vertical drop have never been skied before. And once the ski is complete, why not return to the ocean by raft?
