A woman heads up into beautiful, scenic mountains for a run,&nbsp;but brings with her only an obsessive focus on her training and on berating herself for not pushing hard enough, not doing better.&nbsp;It only takes a small tree root to bring her crashing to the ground - and to have no choice but to see the world around her and abandon the way things "should be."&nbsp;In running, a split time is the difference in your run between the first half and the second.&nbsp;And gradually, she will let go of her obsessiveness, and discover that the quality in running isn't always measured in the speed or the distance.&nbsp;

Bellbottoms, Esq., shoots a documentary about Selby O'Nolan, the eccentric inventor of the purse, exposing information about its long-forgotten nefarious roots. She holds an MFA in Writing (emphasis in Image+Text) from CalArts, where she attended on a Lillian Disney Scholarship. Emily’s work in filmmaking began when she and her brother, Nathan, hijacked the family camera to shoot parodies of their favorite films, but has grown into a passion concurrent with her love of writing and critical theory.
