The island of O'ahu is covered with coconut palms, but for fear of liability the vast majority of these sacred trees have been stripped of coconuts. The grassroots movement "Niu Now" is on a mission to restore the "niu," or coconut, as a fundamental food crop in Hawai'i and spread the Indigenous wisdom of "aloha 'āina:" loving land and serving people. In adopting the perspective of this transcendent fish, the beauty and power of the Oregon coast becomes the canvas through which the evolution of the salmon is illustrated. Spring Alaska from Sakari Farms demonstrates how salmon plays a critical role in our shared ecosystem and has sustained our tribes living throughout the Columbia River Watershed for centuries.

In their family restaurant, the Roca brothers want to cook the dishes their aging mother enjoyed in her youth. To safeguard their culinary heritage and family legacy they go on a journey where they discover the alarming rate of diminishing crop diversity. Director's Bio:<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/770bb2a51fef057f689340e9d93f2f3b.jpg" width="217" style="display: inline; float: right; margin: 0px 0px 1em 1em;">Alberto Utrera is a director and screenwriter. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, where he also studied a master s degree in directing and writing. He studied Direction of actors in the Film Center with Natalia Mateo and Audiovisual Application to Digital Marketing in ECAM.
