Sandy, a perfectionist foley artist for pornography, struggles to find the perfect kissing sound for a new flick. When Sandy’s boss sends in the lead actor, Tad, for a re-recording session, sparks start to fly between the two artists.
Director's Bio:
Emily Everhard is a filmmaker and actress who tells stories about female underdogs and outsiders. Emily is the 2024 Sundance x Sloan Episodic Fellow with her historical drama, Tektite. Her narrative work has screened at Palm Springs ShortFest, Cinequest, Nitehawk, and Alamo Drafthouse. Emily graduated with honors from Dartmouth College (BA) and Columbia University (MFA). She’s worked on documentaries for Netflix, Sundance/AMC Channel, and PBS and creates original content for The Stonewall Inn. Emily pulls from her documentary fieldwork to craft unique narratives centering queer and female perspectives. She uses humor to explore body autonomy, identity, and love.
