Sleeping Alone is a short comedic thriller that follows Andy, a young woman from the city, as she attempts to enjoy a night of housesitting in the countryside. Over the course of the evening, her minor fears about sleeping in a house by herself begin to mount, forcing her to take increasingly extreme actions.


Director's Bio:

Kelsea Bauman-Murphy is a filmmaker and New Yorker who was technically born and raised in Los Angeles. She is currently the digital producer on HBO's flagship talk series "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver." She starred in the independent feature film "Vanilla," and she has a leading role in Xavier Coleman's film "Feedback." Kelsea was previously an associate producer for HBO’s comedic docuseries Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas. Sleeping Alone is Kelsea's directorial debut. Her forthcoming sophomore short film stars Succession's Alli Brown.
